About Me

Hi, I’m Joanne Hagan.

I'm an Australian digital designer, graphic designer, illustrator and photographer from the mid-north coast of NSW. Influenced by my natural surroundings, art deco, print designs, interior designs, old t-shirt graphics, I try to let my creative juices flow when I work on any project - Keeping focused and in the zone.

After studying interior designs and decoration in south-west Sydney design college, I worked at IKEA for 6 months then headed back to my home town of Brunswick Heads NSW. Discovering there was no jobs in my field I went back to college to finish my diploma in graphic design at Kingscliff TAFE NSW.

I worked as a graphic designer for small businesses in the area to gain as much work experience as I could, volunteering for the Cancer council in Byron Bay and NRCF. I then gained more experience working for fashion labels such as Dreamers & Drifters, Hendrix & Harlow and Arnhem. Eventually, landed my dream job with the Billabong Group as a digital designer in ecommerce. Moving forward I have now entered the marketing world and combined my talent, I work as a digital marketing designer at LUV Bridal & Formal. Covering all sections from illustration, content creation, graphic design, digital design and marketing.
